We were at the mall doing some last minute shopping, when we received the dreaded text message from Air Canada. Our flight has been cancelled.
Appears now, that Air Canada will disable your booking, while the work to get you rescheduled on another flight. So we finished up at the mall, and drove home. As we pulled into the garage, we got another text with our new flight... Thankfully, it was on the same day (unlike when this happen to us in Halifax). We used this opportunity however, to select a flight that left later in the day. With the time difference when we arrive in Vancouver, an early start in Toronto, would turn into a very long day for us. We were fortunate that there's several flights a day from Toronto to Vancouver, so we were about to change to a 1pm departure
With this change complete, we can now sleep soundly😀
