Today started VERY early! We're leaving Queenstown. Taxi is picking us up at 4:30am to head to the airport. Queenstown is a very small airport, but we got checked in, and found a spot to hangout until our flight

Our first flight was back to Auckland. When we landed in Auckland, began the hectic speed walking for Wincy and I. While we were aware that we'd have to transfer from domestic to international terminals, we didn't think that the terminals would be so far apart. While we were taxi'ing to the gate, we quickly said our goodbyes, and tried our best to get off the flight sooner. We were told there was a bus that could transfer us to the international terminal, but that the bus doesn't come often, so walking was a better choice. Especially given, we didn't have much time between our flights. We took off on the speed walking journey, and thought we were in pretty good shape. it was a decent walk, but we arrived with a decent amount of time to get through security. Security however, ran into some issues. We weren't sure what happened, but it appeared that every line stopped moving for probably a good 15 - 20 mins. They finally restarted, and we made it on our flight to Tokyo, Japan! Welcome to Japan! We got our Airport Express tickets, and off to the city we go!

And time to find some dinner! It was pretty late now, and we were in a very quiet area of Tokyo. We saw a conveyor belt sushi place on our way to the AirBnB, so we decided why not
Delicious! Turns out they just updated their operating hours to 23 hours a day too! That worked out great for us! Now it was quite late already, so back to the AirBnB, and time for bed!
