Today, we explore Kyoto!
We start our day with an Unagi lunch. I went with the traditional Unagi on rice, while Wincy went with the set that includes a broth.
After lunch, we start our matcha adventure! This includes the matcha soft serve
Matcha Bun (and fish cake)
And a matcha latte from Gokago
Oddest thing we tried today, was a pickle. We saw many people walking around the streets with this, and so we thought we'd try it as well.
We found our way to the shrine. Although we had been here before, we took another picture since we were here.
As we started walking back, we came across a lot of people holding up their cameras.
We weren't exactly sure what they were all taking pictures of, but we stopped to take a quick selfie anyways.
Next! a break! We found this small shop where we ordered an apple pie pastry.
For dinner, we decided to have our first Yakiniku of the trip. We went to Yakiniku Like
