Although today is a travel day, we decided to get up early to try out a Nagoya style breakfast. No where fancy, but a local chain called Komeya Cafe. For breakfast, we each got a drink, along with a toast done 2 ways with red bean, and a shrimp cutlet sandwich. Great way to start the day.

After breakfast, we went back to check out and grab our bags. Luckily, Komeya Cafe was just around the corner from our hotel 😄. With the timing of of train, and it being a short ride to Tokyo, we decided not to get anything to eat for this ride. Something about bullet trains though, they're so fascinating.
After arriving in Tokyo, we dropped off our bags at the AirBnb (final one for our trip), and went out to find something to eat. Wincy had the oddest craving, and really wanted Xiaolong Bao from Ding Tai Fung.

We also tried the sweet and sour soup noodles, and a dessert xiaolong bao. I didn't think the noodles were great, but the xiaolongbao's were not bad.

When we were here in September, we had come across a Hokkaido festival, where we got some really fresh Uni on rice. It just so happened, that Hokkaido festival was back! So we once again grabbed a Uni on Rice, but got one with scallops as well. This was so fresh and delicious! Did not disappoint!

We decided to take it a easy today, and so we walked around Sunshine City. spent some time at the Crayon Shinchan store, and also found a pretty neat Sesame Street shop.

Tonight for dinner, we went to Hama Sushi. The location in Ikebukuro seemed much smaller, and a lot busier than the location in Otsuka.

and for dessert, we had picked up some strawberry flavoured Royce Chocolate
