Today, we took another side trip to Shirakawa-go. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a great place to explore if you have the chance. Shirakawa-Go was put together to highlight the traditional Japanese building style called gasshō-zukuri. It just happened that this was the coldest day of our trip, and none of these buildings had any heating.

We returned to Nagoya for dinner, at Nigiri No Tokube (Oasis 21) for some conveyor belt sushi. Even though this restaurant was a conveyor belt, we ordered off the tablet, and our dishes were handed straight to us. The seafood here was very fresh! Great way to end the day

Although we were full from our sushi dinner, we decided to try out some Japanese McDonald's. The items we ordered however, weren't that good.

On the walk home, we got the chance to see the Nagoya tower at night, up close

Then back to our hotel to pack for our travel day tomorrow
