Tiring day of traveling, but made it to Japan!
After leaving the airport in Tokyo, our first stop was in Ueno where we dropped off our luggage in the station lockers, then went to grab our first meal in Japan. We went to Gyukatsu Motomura Ueno for dinner.
Although we had to line up for a bit, we finished with time to spare. We walked around Ueno for a bit before grabbing a snack for the train ride.
After grabbing our snack, we went back to the train station to catch the 9:10pm Shinkansen to Kanazawa.
We arrived in Kanazawa around 11:45pm, and still had to walk to our AirBnb. With all the hotels around Kanazawa station, we had to wonder if our AirBnB location was convenient or not. It was a 20 min walk to get from the station to our AirBnb, which felt like forever after the long travel day.
