This day started with Jonny taking a lonely walk across Halifax. We booked a car rental on Turo, which Jonny went to pick up alone.

After getting back to the hotel to pick up Wincy, we could start our drive towards Lunenburg. Coastline here is beautiful

We then found our way to the Bluenose where we were able to board and checkout many of the spaces on board. The Bluenose is the boat that's on the Canadian Dime. Wincy even found a dime in her wallet, so we could take a picture

After spending some time in Lunenburg, we started driving towards Peggy's Cove. On the drive there, we also stopped by the memorial site for Swissair flight 111. It was quite foggy when we stopped there, so couldn't see that far out.

We finally made it to Peggy's Cove!

After some mandatory pictures at the lighthouse, we walked down a bit to grab some lobster rolls from Tom's Lobster Shack. This lobster roll was so memorable, Wincy still talks about it all the time.
Update: In 2025, Wincy still talks about this 😛

Then found a lobster to take a picture with

Followed by a Salmon Fisherman

On the way back into Halifax, we stopped by a park to check out this memorial tower

Dinner tonight was along the Halifax Waterfront, at a restaurant called The Bicycle Thief

And a walk along the waterfront after dinner, back to our hotel
