Day 6, Wedding Day!
What a beautiful venue!

And again, it’s winter in New Zealand! Can you believe it?
Mom started drinking first!
The boys are up! And we also started a stream for those that couldn’t make the trip
And finally We have the happy couple at the alter
After the ceremony, we enjoyed some hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Look at all those oysters! They were so fresh!
And we also continued to take more pictures around the property. The surroundings were just amazingly green!
After taking more pictures, we decided to head to a nearby strip mall, as we had quite a bit of time before the dinner reception. Behind the strip mall, was a shallow river with a bunch of giant fish.
Then ran into these posers!
And it was time to head back for the dinner reception. Got to our seats, and took a group photo

Simon’s mom said she didn’t prepare any speech! Everything was being improvised! Yet, she brought accessories 😝
I think this was the first time I’ve seen the groom THIS into the shoe game!
And now for the fun part of the night! Dancing and alcohol! Anya kept telling us before, that she was envious of the several cousins weddings prior, as she heard stories of some of the fun that happened. They all seemed to centre around alcohol, and she really wanted there to be a story at her wedding. She continued to remind me through the night, and so I finally caved.
And look how happy she looked when I showed up with a tray of shots! Simon, looked kinda nervous 😛 Shhh, don’t tell her. The shot glasses were filled with beer 😜
We looked around, and Auntie2 looked like she was having fun too!
This was a hard one! But, I caught the cousins having a blast!
And not sure if this counts, but I think Anya may have been the story at her wedding 😅. Who else see’s Wincy being the one that dropped her?
After saying our goodbyes to the happy couple multiple times, and being dragged back to the bar by the bride, we finally made it out the car, and made our way home for the night. It was a fun night, and I’m sure more happened after we left
